- 39 years of first hand working experience in Energy Management and Distribution Services. Chartered Engineer for 33 years. Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
- Practical knowledge of oil, gas, LPG and electric hot water and heating systems, finned tube boilers, combi boilers, triple pass tubular boilers, coal fired boilers, wood and straw fuel boilers and insulation of walls, floors and roofs.
- Solar sunpipes, Photovoltaic cells, DC and AC voltage supplies from very low voltage (24v) to industrial scale 11KV supplies and control systems.
- Certified in Health and Safety at Work by IOSH and hold NEBOSH Gen Cert Level 3
- Management and installation of energy saving devices / system controls such as low energy lighting (compact fluorescents), triphosphor high efficiency tube lighting, LED lighting, thermostatic temperature controls, heat pumps, heat recovery, motor speed controls, Buildings Management System, Power Factor Correction Equipment.
- Management of over 30 million kwh per annum of energy. Management of Environmental Management Systems, Climate Change monitoring, recording data, Trained Auditor for ISO 14001: 2004 EMS.
- Management experience in manufacture of sand, gravel, aggregates, manufacturing of precast concrete, concrete cladding panels, pipes, piles, aerated concrete, roof tiles, bricks, line / sand mortar.
